Thrips
Release the ground-living predatory mite Hypoaspis aculeifer to combat thrips pupae onto the soil in the pots at the start of cultivation: 4-6 per pot or 100 per m².
Spread or blow Amblyseius swirskii into the crop every 1-2 weeks from March onwards. The dosage (50-75 per m²) and intervals are dependent on the season, stage of cultivation and the extent of the thrips damage. Continue with this until October. If necessary, switch to chemical measures from November to February inclusive.
